GOODWOOD COLLEGE RECEIVES A FRIENDLY VISIT FROM SAPS
Today we were blessed when Sergeant Pheiffer introduced Captain Wentzel to the deputy principal Mr Barkhuizen. We have frequent visits from SAPS and communication between the school and the communication officer means a lot. We salute sergeant Pheiffer for her patience and warm hearted interest in our community.
Mrs Africa also joined the conversation and we hope to have a safe and wonderful 2020 school year...

2020 THE NEW DECADE @ GWC
Wednesday 15 January 2020
It is the dawn of a New Decade. Goodwood College is going to go places this year.
School started on Monday 13 January 2020 for teachers already and they were very busy to get the school ready for the learners who will be arriving for the new school year.
Grade 8's were busy with orientation on Tuesday 14 January and they were bright "eyed and bushy tailed" when they met in the hall to listen to their new Grade 8 Grade Heads Mrs Naidoo and Mrs Baard; Register teachers: Miss Abrahams and Miss Carolison as well as senior learners who gave them a tour of the building.
Mr Barkhuizen mentioned during his welcoming speech that he is looking at a Grade 8 group that applied to be learners of Goodwood College long in advance and therefore their applications were successful and they are now in his eyes the potential Matric Class of 2024, no matter from where they were in 2019. From now on they are "part and parcel" of Goodwood College.
