We dedicate this post to you. We are so proud. What a memorable morning! Thanks Me Coetzee, Me van der Merwe and Me Olivier. These 3 guardians kept this group together.

Concern yourself only with being the best you can be at this moment, for the moment moves with you continually.

Live for today, love for tomorrow and laugh at all your yesterdays. Never regret the past, always hope for the future and cherish every moment you have.

Eventually all the pieces will fall into place. Until then, laugh at the confusion, live for the moment and know that everything that happens for a reason.

Dare to ask for what you want in life. Believe in your dreams. Take personal responsibility and WALK TALL.

Geniet dit en bou jou toekoms deur die erns wat jy aan die dag lê as jy studeer. This is the last time you will enjoy the freedom of being part of celebrating your school life. COMPETITION OPERATION X-TREME MAKEOVER

I am not supposed to have favourites when blogging, but I could not deny the fact that Ms Aucamp and her Grade 11 class impressed my camera lens this morning. What an absolute change. A classroom that holds memories of long hours during detention sessions over the past 23 years, being transformed into this amazing language class atmosphere! The labour of love and dedication to their beloved register teacher touches one's soul. We will be reporting back when the winners of this competition are announced. In the mean time, I am impressed! I will try my first video interview with the winners of this competition.

A very proud teacher Ms Aucamp. You should have heard her giggle! That is pride! Well done!

A VISIT FROM CONNECT-ED

Today we had the members of the connect-ed organization at our school. They had a lesson in Life Orientation and a wonderfull video inset.

Friday, 19 April 2013, is a benchmark for Excellence in our school. The top 10 achievers of Grade 8 - 12 was invited to attend a formal breakfast. The no: 1's had to share their "best practises". We are so proud of these 50 learners! We salute you! Above all, we are humbled by this initiative from our dear principal, Mrs Africa.

Great Partnership with Grand West and Communicare

Goodwood College is hosting a CAREER EXPO on 23 April 2013. We are in partnership with Grand West and Communicare and it promises to open new doors for learners who attend this expo. Attendance via invitation only. We are looking forward to this initiative and we anticipate positive relations. Thanks to all stakeholders and the staff of Goodwood College.

School started with a B A N G! We have so much to be proud of. We are currently waiting for the photo's of the first week of school. Grade 8 intake, Grade 12 Orientation! Well done Goodwood College and may you find joy in the New Year.             We are one big family and we have to rely on each other. Let us take hands in 2013 and find our dreams in this academic year.
